1. Acceptance

By accessing reportillegalsnearyou.com, filing a report, or making a donation, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. The service

Report Illegals Near You operates a community reporting effort. It receives reports from the public concerning suspected illegal immigration activity, compiles those reports into batches, and submits the batches anonymously to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) through the agency's public tip form. After each batch is submitted, all report records associated with that batch are destroyed.

3. Your reports

You agree that the information you submit is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you are reporting matters you have personally witnessed or reasonably believe to be true. You must not submit knowingly false information, and you must not use the service to harass any individual. You understand that reports are community filings, not sworn statements, and that submitting a report does not compel any action by ICE or any other government agency.

4. Anonymity and contact details

Your name, phone, email, and address are collected only so reviewers can reach you if additional information is needed and so your report can be associated with the correct regional batch. Contact details are never included in anything submitted to ICE. The report content itself is anonymous from the moment it enters the queue.

5. Donations and Expedited Filing

Filing a report is free and never requires a donation. Donations support the operation of the reporting effort. Supporters may request Expedited Filing, which moves an existing report from the general queue into the Expedited Filing queue so that it is processed with an earlier batch. A donation never changes the content of a report, the review it receives, or anything submitted to ICE. Donations are not payments to ICE or any government agency and are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.

6. No guarantee of action

ICE receives more tips than it can act on. We cannot guarantee that ICE will honor every report submitted to them, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise that any report will result in enforcement action of any kind.

7. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may not attempt to disrupt the site, submit automated or bulk reports, or misrepresent your identity to us. The site's design, text, and marks are the property of the effort and may not be reproduced commercially without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, the handling of a report, or any action or inaction by ICE or any third party.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always posted at this page with its last-updated date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
